    • Group classes are at the Panera bread by USF (address details in consultation call)

For 1:1’s: The lobby space in my building includes tables, chairs, and a hot water dispenser for tea, creating a calm and welcoming learning environment. I am happy to discuss the space further by phone and can also provide photos upon request.

  • After assessing each child’s reading and/or writing level, challenges, and goals, I create a personalized learning plan tailored to their individual needs.

    1:1 Tutoring

Individual sessions are fully customized and focused on the student’s specific academic goals and areas for growth.

    Group Classes

Group classes begin with a shared vocabulary and reading warm-up. If there is a wide age or grade-level range, students may be divided into smaller subgroups. Students then work independently on personalized assignments while receiving individualized support and guidance throughout class.

    In all classes, I provide:

    • Homework support

    • Supplemental learning materials

    • Instruction aligned with Florida’s B.E.S.T. Standards for ELA

Students may follow my customized curriculum entirely or combine it with support for their school assignments.

  • Necessary Materials for Class:

    Small bag‍ ‍or backpack

    Folder‍ ‍

    - For program assignments

    - Contains homework tracking sheet (provided by me)

    Writing utensils‍ ‍

    - Pencils

    - Pens

    Optional‍ ‍

    - Water bottle

    - Portable mug (for tea from the lobby)

    Provided by me‍ ‍

    - Light snacks

    - Other necessary materials

Note: Homework completion is essential for steady academic progress.

  • If a student is unable to attend class for any reason, parents must provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged the full class fee.

Each class is carefully planned in advance, and last-minute cancellations may prevent another student from using that time slot. Thank you for your understanding and consideration.

  • Learning cycles are structured in 3-month periods. At the end of each cycle, I meet with parents to discuss the student’s progress, strengths, and future goals.

At the yearly mark, we will also evaluate whether the student is ready to graduate from the program or continue with more advanced material.

  • Absolutely! Siblings and friends are welcome to participate in the same group class.

Group classes are designed to accommodate different ages and grade levels. While much of the work is completed independently, students benefit from a calm, positive, and productive learning environment alongside their peers.

  • Families who enroll a sibling receive 20% off the sibling’s first class package.

  • Payments are accepted through:

    • Zelle (preferred)

    • Venmo

    • PayPal

Class packages are billed every 5 weeks from the original purchase date.

  • Class packages are structured over 5 weeks to provide flexibility for missed classes.

If a student misses a class during the regular 4-week cycle, the 5th week may be used to schedule a make-up session. Classes are also available online through Zoom for added flexibility and convenience.

  • Classes are intentionally designed to be 90 minutes long to give students enough time to:

    • Review homework

    • Learn new material

    • Practice skills

    • Ask questions and receive support

The extended session length also provides added convenience for parents by allowing more flexibility during drop-off time.
